2. Donations in Kind

We are always in need of donations in the form of goods for our clients and children. The most needed items include food, clothing, toiletries, blankets, toys and stationary. Please contact us to donate goods.

3. Buy our Crafts

The HIV positive clients of Yabonga produce a variety of crafts including beadwork, handmade bags, picture frames and jewellery. Please contact Jacqui to discuss how you can support our income generating programme by ordering our products.

Income Generation

Yabonga offers different projects on income generation to its trainees. The women are asked prior to the start of the training which areas of crafts making they are interested in and have been taught skills around beadwork, sewing, fabric painting, cooking and baking, wire work, and food gardening.

The making of crafts and produce, which Yabonga undertakes to sell, gives a sense of welf-worth and pride to the women. The environment of producing the craft work is therapeutic and healing for the trainees.


In addition to the salaries which they earn for their work as peer educators., the women are able to enhance their income considerably through the sale of their produce. Yabonga also encourages the clients of the support centres to join the income generation programme.


5. Get Involved

Teaching crafts, facilitating workshops for our youth, spending time with orphans and vulnerable children or simply help out with administrative tasks in the headoffice. Please contact Emily to find out how you can get involved!
